    participating in the CONCACAF Champions League 2016-17.
    Atlas and Necaxa from Liga MX excluded.
    Correcaminos UAT, Zacatepec Siglo XXI, Cimarrones, Potros UAEM, Loros and Tampico Madero 
    from Ascenso MX also excluded.
